CONTEST: Kate Boy @ Wrongbar, June 9th

I’m loving the debut EP (“Northern Lights”) from Kate Boy, the group comprised of Australian singer-songwriter Kate Akhurst (vocals) and Swedish musicians Hampus Nordgren, Oskar Engström, and Markus Dextegen.  The title track from the EP turned a lot of heads, now “In Your Eyes” is taking over (video below).  Don’t those two songs alone make you want to see this band?

Kate Boy are a part Australian part Swedish group set to release their debut EP Northern Lights via IAMSOUND January 22nd, 2013.  Their single “Northern Lights,” was released earlier this month to much praise, but the b-side “In Your Eyes” hits just as hard, making me wonder how hard that decision was to pick which one went first.
