Maala is Hozier meets Chet Faker. Last August this mysterious New Zealander released five tracks under a self-titled EP, now available on Spotify. “Unbound” not only highlights Maala‘s strong vocals and synth beats, but his lyrical talent as well. The introductory verse could be a poem on its own.
