WhoMadeWho in “The Plot”

WhoMadeWho are a Copenhagen based trio who have a unique take on live electronic pop. What makes them different from many of the other acts that try to infuse rock into electronica, or electronica into rock, is what I’d call an interesting twang. I often find myself wondering if some of the guys were busting cowboy hats and plaid shirts when they were recording. Listen to the bassline of this track, titled ‘The Plot’. Like an elderly couple strolling through the mall on boxing day, it is no hurry to be anywhere, and is content to amble on its way, even while surrounded by increasing mass hysteria. Look for their new album, due to drop in late March.
