I couldn’t think of a better compliment to Jarryd James‘ “Do You Remember” than this music video. Directed and choreographed by Alexander Ekman, whose resume features work with the Viennese Ballet, The National Dance Company in Wales and the Boston Ballet, “Do You Remember” put these interpretive dancers front and centre, backed by the James’s silky falsetto vocals, pounding drums, and plucked guitars.

You’ll remember this song from January 2015 when it single-handedly launched the career of Australian singer-songwriter Jarryd James. The Joel Little (Lorde) produced track is one of five featured on the Brisbane artists’ debut self-titled EP, released September 3 on Interscope Records. The EP also features “This Time (Serious Symptoms, Simple Solutions,)” the third Joel Little produced track which Zane Lowe selected as his Beats1 “World Record” on release day last year.
