Mikky Ekko “Kids” (Cid RIM edit)

Cid RIM takes on ‘Kids’ by Mikky Ekko and throws a fresh finger snapping spanner into the works.

Back in February we saw Cid Rim’s edit for CHVRCHES “Recover”. Now, it’s Mikky Ekko’s ‘Kids’ that gets slowed down to a pace that lures us in with crisp finger clicking that has replaced the former anthemic melody. It’s somewhat calmer and smoother with synth notes brushing over the former original – creating a new emotive and takeout.
