What: Currently on the road in Europe, here’s a track from now Toronto based band The Mohawk Lodge. The track (‘Cold Hearts’) sits second on their third album called Crimes, written by White Whale Records founder Ryder Havdale. It deals with crimes of the heart and brims with emotion telling a story of loneliness and pain that somehow finds a little light at the end of the tunnel.
Two Door Cinema Club have announced that they’ll be releasing a deluxe edition of their debut album (and probably top ten record of 2010 here) Tourist History on September 13th. Since releasing the record, these boys have been on fire, selling close to 50k copies worldwide as well as charting in the top 200 in the UK since it was put out.
Also, the band have announced a remix competition for their song ‘What You Know’, where fans can download stems from their soundcloud page, put their best spin on it and duke it out to win. The best remix will make it on this deluxe edition of the album I speak of.
Interested to hear if any can make that song better, kind of doubt it.
