Toronto’s indie theatre and arts festival Summerworks starts today. I’m probably not the best person to recommend which stage or performance art should be at the top of your list, but I can tell you that the festival has a great musical component. 16 bands (including Young Rival, The Bicycles, The Sunparlour Players, Julie Fader, The Diableros and The Rural Alberta Advantage to name a few) will be playing shows each night at the Theatre Centre (1087 Queen West) ending next Saturday (Aug. 16th).
