Hilang Child is London based multi-instrumentalist Ed Riman, who is set to release a new double A-side single, ‘Thule’ & ‘Endless String’, through Akira Records on 15th June.
For fans of Local Natives, Fleet Foxes, take a listen to this beautiful song “Thule”.
Ezra Vine is a multi-instrumentalist obsessed with escapism, indulging his melodic fantasies among handclaps, and the waltz of bass drums. With a handful of tunes released in early 2013 on Bandcamp under monikers ‘Les Enfants’ he’s gained an audience that helped elevate him to a top ten spot among Bandcamp’s best seller’s in the Folk category. Vine’s debut single ‘Celeste’ is set for release this month, and his EP is due to drop in November, later this year.
Great tune, for fans of Ivan & Alyosha, Local Natives.
“Must Love Dogs” the counterpoint on my checklist for all human beings. From their latest album ‘Hummingbird’, Local Natives deliver a video that tells the story of our world, without dogs. Always having a soft spot and call-to-reference for Local Natives previous videos (World News, Airplanes), this particular song is a firm favourite of mine and you must be barking mad if it doesn’t tug at your heart-strings. A testament to our furry little friends and what it would be like without them, the video just premiered over at Noisey – we’re just relieved that cats are taking a back seat for once.
“Heavy Feet” by Local Natives, from their sophomore album, Hummingbird. The video features a trio of aging blind men, who fashion model airplanes while sandwiches sing to them.
